My first ever youth camp.
Don’t know what to say… napapa sigaw, talon, hiyaw, kanta, at iyak nalang ako sa saya! Yes OA ako pero I’ve been waiting for this to happen for 2years. Ilang camps na din akong hindi pinayagan but because of my Lord’s faithfulness, finally! this is it!

Seems no one’s interested in my thoughts about books specially my hunger games madness :( I just finish reading the book and I can’t help but pour out my thoughts about it :)
Hunger games is my first ever trilogy book and feeling ko mas nakakalokang sabihing na na-download ko lang sya so imagine me in front of the laptop for more than a day reading and reading and reading. I almost had sore eyes :|
HUNGER GAMES - book1
332 page. woah! that’s the longest paged book I’ve ever read! achieve! haha! para sakin more of introductions itong book 1. Like what is hunger games or what it is for, where this all happen, what and where is panem, sino si katniss/peeta/gale. It answers what it is really about, nothing much of twists and turns. I haven’t read much of the reviews kaya nagulat ako na may love story din kala ko adventure and action talaga so I think that makes this book rampant and well loved by the readers. Syempre I have my favorite characters:
Peeta Mellark - not so handsome but very honest :) my favorite line from him is “When I die I want to be me, that I’m more than just a piece of their games” and of course ang “She came here with me” or his confessions :)
Cinna - his design clothes are so alive, I could even see myself wearing it while reading the book and his the first character I trust.
Rue- Adorable! yun na yun :)

CATCHING FIRE - book 2
My favorite!!! In here it has a lot of character emphasis. I got to know more of effie, the prep team, katniss’ mother, prim, gale, haymitch, president snow, and of course, peeta and katniss :) bigla akong naging conyo sa librong to naka ilang “oh my gosh!” ako dahil sa mga emotion, twists and turns haha! Nakilala ko din kung sino talaga ang kontrabida. Mas nalasap ko ang pagka panalo ni katniss and peeta sa hunger games. Kiligfest —> one of the best word/term I could think of about it. I love the rooftop, force field, and beach scene!! though I anticipate of what will happen next meron pa ring surprises :) however may mga unresolved issues pa rin and dahil dun naging kaabangabang ang Mockingjay
MOCKINGJAY - book 3- the last book
Grisly and horrible. Lahat na ng term about loss, death, and longing, that’s Mockingjay is. Kahit na least favorite ko ito, ito pa rin yung nagpaiyak sakin — may ganun?! haha! I can feel every loss and every break out of katniss to the point I have to stop for awhile in reading it. Sa book na to sobra kong na-miss si peeta :/ at dahil sa death ni prim hindi ko naramdaman ang happily ever after ni peeta and katniss or should I say kulang din talaga ang pagkaka kwento. Nakaka inis kasi hindi man lang na-emphasize yung pag galing ni peeta at katniss and yung growing back together nila. Sabi ko tuloy “332 pages nga yung book 1 sana kahit naging 500 pages na to basta na bigyan pa ng emphasis yung ibang characters lalo na yung story ni peeta and katniss” kaso I have to remind myself that the book is not about love story of katniss and peeta, it never was! The book is about triumph over a controlling wicked power of capitol and president snow.
I have to say, my almost 2weeks inside my room all day is worth it. Matagal din akong ina-company ng hunger games. Lesson? Every loss is beauty :)
